Personal taxes

We prepare and electronically file. Individual returns, W2, 1099, self-employed workers, extensions, and amendments. We review your information to prepare a complete return and apply the deductions and credits for which you qualify under the law.

Your situation comes first

A personal return that reflects your full year

Not every taxpayer arrives with a single W-2. You may have changed jobs, worked independently, received 1099 forms, paid education expenses, purchased a home, or experienced family changes. We organize the information before preparing so the return is consistent with your documents and less likely to omit something important.

Employment income

We gather your W-2 forms and review whether you had multiple employers, name or address changes, or withholding that must be reported accurately.

1099 and self-employment

We organize the forms you received and the income and expense records connected with your independent activity.

Personal changes

Marriage, divorce, dependents, education, moves, and buying a home can change the documents and questions we need to review.

Prior years or corrections

If you did not file a year or found a possible omission, we review the available information to define whether a return or amendment should be prepared.

What we do during preparation

The goal is to prepare a complete return from the information you provide and explain what is still needed before filing.

Income review

W-2, 1099, interest, distributions, benefits, and self-employment records, depending on your situation.

Applicable deductions and credits

We review available records to identify deductions and credits for which you may qualify under the law. We do not promise a refund amount.

Preparation and e-file

We prepare the return and, when eligible and authorized, file it electronically.

Extensions

If you need more time to file, we can prepare the applicable request. An extension to file does not automatically extend the time to pay tax owed.

Amendments

We review changes to income, filing status, dependents, deductions, or credits to determine whether the records support an amended return.

Copy and next steps

You receive a copy of the filed return and a general explanation of the records to retain and the administrative steps that follow.

What to have ready
